Careology wins the top prize for ‘Most Promising Pilot’ at this year’s prestigious Health Tech Awards.
We are delighted to share that our partnership with LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare (LPCH), part of McKesson UK, has been recognised by Health Teach News as the ‘Most Promising Pilot’ of 2021.
The independent expert judging panel for this year’s HTN Awards recognised the powerful combination of our digital cancer care platform and LPCH’s nurse-led homecare, and the impact this has on the patient experience and delivery of cancer care. We are incredibly proud of this innovative partnership, which was a first in the UK healthcare market. Our joint aim is to empower patients, who are receiving treatment at home, via the Careology mobile app and remote patient monitoring platform.
The HTN Health Tech Awards – held online and streamed to a global audience of healthcare and tech professionals – celebrates digital teams, programmes, innovations and healthtech solutions that have made a significant difference through the year. Showcasing the innovations that are helping to shape the future services and systems across healthcare. A total of 21 winners were announced across the different categories.
Paul Landau, Founder and CEO of Careology, said:
“To win this prestigious Health Tech Award is an incredible achievement and real testament to the passion and dedication of our Careology team and the focus and determination of the LloydsPharmacy Clinical Homecare team, who share our vision for the important role digital cancer care plays in better supporting and connecting patients to their nurses.”
About Careology
Careology is building the world’s leading digital cancer care platform. By equipping and seamlessly connecting patients, caregivers and healthcare teams in a complex pathway, our mission is to use technology to transform traditional cancer care and change everyone’s cancer story for the better. Today the platform allows patients to manage and navigate all aspects of treatment from their device, while leveraging critical data on symptoms, medications, side effects and more, to deliver insight and analysis to clinical teams through a ‘virtual ward’. By increasing the potential for patients to self-serve, improving workflows, making 24/7 monitoring possible and putting a unique data set to work, we are helping to relieve pressure on health systems, while reducing costs, improving patient and clinician experience, and optimising health outcomes.
